Warsaw Street Art

On a recent trip to Warsaw, Poland, I  came across some incredible street art painted on the cement structures of the Lazienkowska underpass (a main thoroughfare for traffic east to west).

Art is in the eye of the beholder…

As are the many interpretations that each seems to portray…

 

 

Clearly the artist had a specific intent. What do you think they intended to say?

 

 

 

 

 

Admittantly, I know nothing about the artist’s represented here. But I did find out that there’s a woman who goes around the city looking to add art in unusual places to beautify ugly spots or blend in with common elements like brick steps . She calls it Nespot art. Here is an example I spotted on a corroded metal box.
